"On Fluoride as a By-product of Aluminum Production"

In the smelting of aluminum, fluoride is often a by-product. In the past, metallurgy was not refined, and there were many complicated processes in the production of aluminum, and the appearance of fluoride was rarely observed in detail.

At present, with the prosperity of industry, the output of aluminum is increasing day by day, and fluoride as a by-product, its output is also considerable. Because of the production of aluminum, the raw materials and processes used, during many chemical reactions, fluorine elements are released, and they become fluoride, which becomes a by-product.

Fluoride is not only the residue of aluminum production, but its disposal and utilization are related to the environment and resources. If it is discarded and allowed to dissipate, fluoride may enter the soil and water sources, causing high fluoride content in the water and soil, endangering the growth of organisms and causing serious harm to human health. Therefore, it is urgent to make good use of this by-product and turn useless into useful.

There are teachers and sages, and we should find good strategies. Or research new technologies to convert fluoride into usable materials, such as chemical raw materials; or find proper methods to store it properly to prevent it from polluting the environment. In this way, the prosperity of the aluminum industry will not be affected by fluoride, and there will be worries. It can also recycle resources, which is in line with the way of heaven and earth.
